All content is written by the Cadets, Officers and Support Committee members of the Squadron.
History:
www.49squadron.org.nz first went live in 2007 when a need was identify to have a recruitment support tool and public information interface.
During August 2007, the existing website was created using the Drupal content management system. It now functions as a communication tool at the hub of day-to-day running of the unit. Events can be added to keep all personnel up to date, and handy documents like joining instructions and gear lists can be added to camp event. Upon completion of events, CDT members are able to post reports from camps/courses/parades and we can use it as a method of displaying our photos from these events. Behind the scenes, there is also a user forum for personnel of the unit to discuss the goings on at the unit.
